Chemical Mosquito Program
Our Chemical Mosquito Control Program consists of three treatments of Bifenthrin (Label), usually beginning in late May or early June. The mosquito treatment services at your Cape Cod property are generally about 30 days apart. Bifenthrin will kill mosquitos for one week and repel mosquitos for another week. New mosquitos that hatch in the vicinity of your property will take two weeks to become biting adults. Each treatment will provide 3-4 weeks of mosquito control and your next treatment will be scheduled accordingly.
We also offer a Single Mosquito Treatment Option. If you are having an event or a party, we have found that a single treatment of Bifenthrin will provide excellent short term control for backyard mosquito prevention on Cape Cod.
Organic Mosquito Program
Our Organic Mosquito Control Program consists of four treatments of Cedar Oil (Label), applied monthly from May - August. Cedar oil will deteriorate the exoskeleton of mosquitos. Cedar oil will also disorient the mosquitos making it difficult for them to find a food source, or a mate. Monthly mosquito treatment services at your Cape Cod property with cedar oil will kill the immature mosquitos thus greatly reducing the adult population on your property. Cedar oil needs to be applied monthly to be effective, for this reason we do not offer a single treatment option.
